Hi! My name is Stacey Murphy, and I'm very excited to be working with your children at The Alpine School this year. This will be my twelfth year teaching, and my first year teaching 1st grade. I grew up in Hillsdale, NJ, and now live in Rockland County, NY with my husband, son and daughter, and our dog.
I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade this year! I'm looking forward to sharing a successful, fun-filled year with your children. My main goal for all the students this year is for them to become independent, self-learners who are able to work cooperatively. It is important for them to take pride in all the work they do, and maybe even have a little fun while doing it!
